JAMMU, July 9: Domana police arrested a man and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Domana Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian.
During checking, police recovered 80 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Kuldeep Raj, son of Devi Dass, a resident of Tehsil Marh.
A case under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana Inspector Rajeshwar Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sandeep Gupta and SP Rural Dushyant Sharma.
