JAMMU, May 16: Gajansoo police arrested a man and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gajansoo Police Post laid a naka and apprehended a man along with 80 pouches of illicit liquor, which he was carrying for selling among the masses in his native area to make illegitimate profits.
The accused has been identified as Raj Kumar, son of Krishan Lal, a resident of Nai Basti, Gajansoo.
A case under FIR Number 56/18 has been registered at Kanachack Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Gajansoo Police Post SI Vikrant Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Kanachak Inspector Neeraj Choudhary, SDPO Domona Sandeep Gupta and SP Rural Jammu Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
