JAMMU, Apr 14: Domana police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Domana Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a scooter.
During checking, police recovered 40 pouches from the vehicle and arrested the rider, who has been identified as Ramesh Kumar, son of Om Parkash, a resident of Tehsil Marh.
A case under FIR Number 123/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana Inspector Sumit Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sandeep Gupta and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
