JAMMU, Apr 7: Kanachack police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking, a team from Kanachack Police Station apprehended a man and recovered 43 pouches and 3 quarters of illicit liquor from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Mulk Raj of Mishriwalla.
A case under FIR Number 41/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Kanachack Inspector Neeraj Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sandeep Gupta and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
