JAMMU, Nov 9: Bishnah police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station conducted raid in village Buland Kothey and arrested a person along with 50 pouches and 80 litres of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Baldev Raj alias Raju, son of Kalu Ram, a resident of Buland Kothey, tehsil Bishnah.
A case under FIR Number 241/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector PP Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
