JAMMU, Dec 7: Sidhra police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a man and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Sidhra Police Post apprehended a man along with 8 grams of heroin.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Yaseer, son of Mohammad Aslam, a resident of Batra, Sidhra.
A case under FIR Number 264/17 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Sidhra Police Post SI Tariq Ahmed made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Nagrota Inspector Bhushan Singh Manhas, SDPO Nagrota Yashbir Singh and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
