REASI, Feb 10: a man has been arrested for using his shop as bar.
As per police spokesman, on reliable information, a team from Reasi Police Station conducted raid in a shop at Bhaga and apprehended the shopkeeper for using his shop as a bar.
The arrested person has been identified as Ramesh Chander, son of Shabu Ram, a resident of Tanda, at present Bhaga.
The arrested person revealed that some proxy persons are transporting liquor from Reasi to his shop at Bhaga.
A case under FIR Number 27/19 under sections 50 and 50-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi and investigation started.
Police team led by ASI Mohammad made the arrest under the supervision of Dr Nikhil Gogna DySP Headquarters Reasi, Shiv Kumar Chouhan Additional SP Reasi and Nisha Nathyal SSP Reasi.
