Malik demands removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre

JAMMU, Jan 3: A joint meeting of the representatives of J&K Government Employees and Workers Joint Action Committee was held here today under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, State president of the Association.
The meeting demanded immediate implementation of High Court orders in letter and spirit regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre.
Malik also criticized the previous State Government for deliberately betraying from the commitment made between the employees and the Government on March 10, 2008, February 19, 2009, May 14, 2010 and September 15, 2011 wherein it was promised to fulfill all the agreed demands of the employees but nothing was done.
He described the Pay Anomalies Committee made by the Government as an eye wash just to befool the clerical cadre.
Malik also urged the Government to solve the long pending demands the employees regarding removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre by giving grade of 4000-6000 to junior assistants and 4500-7000 to senior assistant and 5500-9000 to head assistant and junior stenographers.
