‘Make in India’ business model should be followed: Sethi

JAMMU, Feb 21: Calling for promoting ‘Make in India’ campaign, State vice-president BJP Yudhvir Sethi said that the novel initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi calls for promoting the brand India at global level and local businessmen should follow the initiative by promoting indigenous products.
He said utilizing local talent and resources for producing world class products is not only a very profitable business model but the model can also help in strengthening the economy of the State.
“We must promote Make in India products and we should yearn to make products better in quality than the imported products,” he added.
Yudhvir was speaking at the inauguration of designer furniture showroom Dream Furniture at Airport Road, here today.
The furniture showroom would be one of its kind as all the furniture would be exclusively designed and crafted by local designer and craftsmen.
Jitender Sharma and Gaurav Jain both are proprietors of the firm and the furniture would be designed under the supervision of Interior designer Anamika Jain.
The proprietors informed that the showroom would cater to the needs of people for high quality make in India domestic and office furniture at low price would be made available under one roof.
