Maize weakens on tepid demand

NEW DELHI, Mar 24: Barring a fall in maize prices owing to muted demand, other grains held steady at the wholesale grains market today.

Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries against adequate stocks position mainly attributed the slide in maize prices.

In the national capital, maize shed Rs 10 to Rs 1,440-1,445 per quintal.
