JAMMU, Jan 1: Led by Mahila Morcha Gandhi Nagar Mandal president Rekha Chouhan, the Morcha activists called on Speaker, Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly and local MLA Kavinder Gupta at his residence and discussed the problems related to areas of the Mandal besides seeking his intervention for solution of the same.
Kavinder Gupta, during his interaction with the Mahila Morcha activists, assured that whatever has been brought into his notice will be looked into for the early mitigation so that no one in his constituency is made to suffer. He said that being elected representative of Gandhi Nagar, every effort is being made on his part to reach each and every nook and corner of the constituency and do the best so that the people who have elected him realize that their choice to bring in BJP activist as their MLA was really perfect.
Rekha Chouhan and other activists expressed their gratitude to the MLA for taking keen interest in the development of Gandhi Nagar constituency and expressed hope that the constituency will get a new face lift in the coming days.
Mahila Morcha district secretary Pooja Chouhan, Mandal general secretaries Prerna Nanda and Shashi Sethi, party activists Meenu Devi, Chander Prabha, Krishna Priya, Charanjeet Kour, Ravinder Kour, Asha Kumari and Karishma Sethi accompanied the Mandal president.
Gandhi Nagar BJP Mandal president Ankush Gupta was also present on the occasion.
