Mahila Cong workers launch campaign on demonetization

JAMMU, Jan 4: Pradesh Mahila Congress today announced series of agitation programmes in connection with the demonetisation and reply of five questions asked by the AICC leader Rahul Gandhi from  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the unearthing of  black money and losses suffered by the nation.
Talking to media-persons here today Pradesh Mahila Congress president, Indu Pawar dubbed Modi Government as pro-industrialists and pro-business lobbies,  pursuing anti-poor policies.  She  asked Prime Minister,  Modi to give reply to the five important questions which AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi has raised on demonetization. She said that Rahul Gandhi has given enough time to Narendra Modi  but there is no reply from him till date.
Pawar further said that common masses are facing problems due to demonetization but BJP leaders are unconcerned about ever increasing plight of the people. She said that women are worst victim of  the pro- industrialist’s policies being pursued by Modi Government.
She alleged that Modi Government is serving interests of only handful of businessmen while as remaining population is facing hardship.  She said that as per directions of Congress leadership, Mahila Congress has started series of programmes to expose BJP before the masses and would force the Prime Minister to give reply to the five questions asked by  Rahul Gandhi. She said that  Mahila Congress would hold mass contact programme to take up this issue among the masses.
Pawar, a former MLA further announced that throughout the month of January, Mahila Congress would hold programmes in different parts of the state followed by a massive anti-demonetization rally at Jammu on January 9. She added that in January, Manila Congress activists would submit memorandum to BJP MPs, MLAs and MLCs to clear their stand on the five questions asked by Rahul Gandhi. Mahila Congress would also start a signature campaign.
Vandana Makhnotra, Santosh Sharma, Suman Choudhary, Sushma Choudhary, Geeta Dogra, Reeta Kanojia and Amina were also present.
