JAMMU, May 15: BJP conducted Vijaypur Mandal Working Committee meet for Mandal, Ward and booth level activists in the presence of State secretary (Add) and Seh-Prabhari Samba Rakesh Mahajan in district Samba.
The meeting was inaugurated by Rakesh Mahajan along with BJP State Executive Member Sanjeev Sharma, district general secretary Subhash Verma, Vijaypur Mandal president Somnath Verma and Jai Sharma. Proceedings started with the recitation of organizational song and Vande Mataram.
Rakesh Mahajan, while addressing the gathering, said that today the party has achieved new heights under the able leadership of PM Narendra Modi and BJP National president Amit Shah. The recent visit by PM Modi for the inauguration of Chenani-Nashri tunnel proves that PM is personally interested in the affairs of Jammu & Kashmir. Recent visit by Amit Shah has also given us a new direction to work and simultaneously new targets to achieve. Visit of Amit Shah was not just a routine affair, but a booster dose for the dedicated activists of the party. He also said that BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma is very serious for seeking the sincere efforts on behalf of party leaders, so he has given clear instructions to the party cadre for celebrating six programs of the party as festivals. These programs will act as a medium to concentrate our energy for expanding the base of party and spread of our ideology in the masses in the birth centenary year of great ideologue Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay.
He also sought reporting of the organizational works done during last three months by the local leaders and chalked out programs for coming months. While explaining all the schemes and policies of the party, he asked for door to door campaigning by the activists of the party to have a firsthand reach to the public. He stressed that the Mahila Morcha must work for PMUY and other Mahila related schemes given by Centre and State Governments.
Somnath Verma read welcome address. He also detailed about all the programs done by the Mandal and Morcha teams. He further said that booth presidents form the base of the Party, so their work need to be promoted.
Sanjeev Sharma and Subhash Verma also addressed the Working Committee meet.
