Greediness

I am a Devil
Spreading everywhere
Cut my head
And throw me away
Crush my seeds
So that they may not get the way
Murder me, murder me,
So that goodness can make away
But its difficult to search me
Hidden inside you
Binding you without a rope
And taking away from you every hope
I am casting shadow
On every one
And sipping from the cup of life
Every joy
Your days of happiness
I have stolen
Every heart is suffering from a pain
And there is no affection
It's my dare,
That you are in worry and tension
Sorrow is dancing in your Mansion
Pale are the flowers of your garden
It's your fault
That I acted without hault
Have you not grown greedy
I wouldn't be playing with your wishes
Put a full stop
Minimise your greed chart
Help me to hide myself
So that you can also release

The priest

A calm face wearing a sereal smile
With lots of secrets deep inside
He dedicate his whole life
Where there is no hatred and no lies
He feels the care in everyone talk
And to be there for everyone who was
He lives his life without any selfish motive
And carry everyday's cross with love & gaiety
Jesus chose him among thousands
Evergreen as monsoon's first showers
Thanks to him for all the time
Who brought you near his divine.
A four lettered word he always remember
To be lived for Jesus and his people
Jesus keep your priest always fit, active and gay
That is my wish I always pray.
His sacrifice life would no go in vain
Because of christ you took all the fatal pains
Joys and sorrows are shadows of his life
Company of right people make him wise
He surrender himself to God alone
May his dedication be a meaningful to all.

Our Glorious History

The folk of that forty seven,
Had the nationality laden.
The folk of that Indian nation,
Has fighted to mould its creation.
The fighters were brave with core hard,
That they made swindler to outside yard.
The pin of nationality bow towards them,
They were our's finest Gem.
The Indian independence was their Goddess,
Their cries were lonely and needed oneness.
They aroused the oneness in ground.
In our souls, they rang independence sound,
Either Gandhian or of Bhagat's strategy,
They pave for nation's glory.
Fight was till fought by two sects,
But then whites supplied poison through ducts.
They sowed the hatred and then went,
But the burning hearts still are bent.
They divided us along with our unity,
They seized our divine peace and eternal serenity.
They sowed the seeds of majority and minority.
And then fled for the sects to fight for their duty.
This is very pity to be one but not to be,
Let us capture our freedom and let her not to flee.
In the lap of each one's side,
Thus celebrate our 60th glory abide.
Salute those one's who led their life.
Salute to them who love India as their wife.
Be proud to be a speck of this letter,
And let us enhance its glory and make it better.

Anadhi Gadoo.

Miss you mother-in-Law

Woes of departed moments
Make me weep again
Remembrances of your love
Turn my lip dry
The moments we shared together
Are unforgettable
But the moment of your
Departure is unbearable
Days turned to a week
Weeks to a month
And the months turned
To a year
But my heart does not turn
A little from you - O my loving Mother-in-Law.

DEEPAK SINGH, JANIPUR
Q: Sometime the life seems to be impossible. Should we make the life possible or make the impossible, the possible?
A: Our life depends upon our own behaviour and the way we lead it. Things, on certain occasions become difficult, which can be tackled with determination. I am of the view that certain things are really impossible in life, which cannot be rectified or made possible. All we are supposed to do in such circumstances, is to gear up all our resources with courage to stem the rot and bring the derailed train back on track.
RAJERSH MANHAS, DODA
Q: Why did Government of Rajasthan put a ban on newly produced Hindi movie ‘Jodha Akbar’?
A: Since I have not seen the said Hindi movie, I am unable to make any comment, but I assume that if Rajasthan Government banned its screening in the State, the same might have been containing some points hurting the sentiments of a particular community of that State or telling upon the history of Rajasthan.
RAHAT ZARGAR, DODA
Q: Why in most of Hindi movies of Bollywood, there are only Love Stories, but not the films based on some social subjects sans songs, as is the trend in other western movies with good lesson for the society?
A: A few hit Hindi movies witnessed of late also proved to be based on the themes of some western movies, but by the time the people could learn about those, a new boom of Hindi films emerged and the people forgot about those (absurd) hit films. However, the movies produced on local themes with 100 percent Indian music lost sight of the people as those were minus ‘Masala’.
PAARAS KOTWAL, PUNEJA
Q: Why heads of junior members of a family are tonsured in the case of death of some elderly person in Hindu families?
A: This custom has its roots way back to several centuries before, when mourners used to traverse long distances to express condolences to the bereaved family. Tonsuring was used to be done so that members of bereaved family could easily be recognized, instead of asking any one else. Though much water has flown down the rivers yet the system is still prevalent in rural areas of Jammu region.
SNEH BHAT, PALOURA
Q: Corruption has rotten our whole system. Is there any way in this computer age to get rid of this menace?
A: It is the computer age which has the capacity to detect the crimes at a faster pace and bring the guilty to the book, may be corruption at any level or other organized or unorganized crimes.
AJEET BHUTYAL, UDHAMPUR
Q: Love is like a burning cigarette, which starts with fire and ends in ash. Your comment?
A: Love cannot be compared with a cigarette, because it has fragrance, passion, zeal to lead a peaceful life and what not. The love has multifarious dimensions viz love between a father and his daughter, mother and son and love of grand parents towards their grand-children has another dimension. Hence all the dimensions of love cannot be equated with burning cigarette. Only an estranged lover could say so.
WANI SHAKEEL, ALINBASS
Q: Fear can help a man out of danger, but courage can support him in it. Comment?
A: Fear is not a guarantee to bring a person out of danger because a weak-hearted person can breathe his last, but it is the courage and will to survive even in odd conditions which holds the sway in such circumstances.
ROHINI K GUPTA, JAMMU
Q: The world today is a jungle of ideas in which any planned march is not possible. All that you need is a torch and that torch has to be yourself. Comment please?
A: Your question holds the answer in itself. Because even in the present era of life the jungle prevails some where may be in some other form. To overcome from such situations one is required to hold strings of the time in fingers so that all goes well.
ASHRAF KATOCH, RAMSU
Q: Learn to obey if you desire to command. Am I right?
A: The element of discipline comes from top to bottom. If one aspires to become a commandant, he is required to obtain training from the level of a soldier, so as to become a good commandant.
PRERNA KOTWAL, BHADERWAH
Q: Why a needle sinks in water and a ship floats while both are made of steel?
A: Because needle is a solid but sleek substance having no hollow space to get floated while a ship though made of steel with a vast hollow space floats in water and there lies the difference.
PRABHA KUMAR JHA, JAMMU
Q: Now-a-days, I observe the frequent occurrence of a particular word"Emerge", with various prefixes and suffixes. To quote a few , are, emerging economy, emerging nations etc, but what has caught my attention is ‘emerging youth’. How far do you agree with these terms with particular emphasis on the last mentioned words?
A: As far as the term emerging economy or emerging nation is concerned I find no reason to criticize the same, because the said term holds good, but, like you, I fail to understand the fun of using the term ‘emerging youth’. If at all the term is to be related with youth, it should be ‘emerging unemployment among youth’. I fully agree with you.
AMRITA KATOCH, UDHAMPUR
Q: No great or worthy person, whether in the past or in the present times, has been known to have fallen in love to the extent of losing his mental balance. This shows men of high spirit and those who build up vast business empires are able to keep themselves away from ‘Love’. What is your view?
A: I agree with your view point, though partially, because, it is said that there is always a woman behind the success of a man and that woman can be either his mother or the better half (including would be).
RAHUL GORKA, GANGYAL
Q: Looking at the increasing incidents of scuffles between attendants of patients and the doctors in the hospitals, where has gone the respect for this pious profession? Will the same treatment meted out to God in case people loose temper?
A: It is said that it takes two to make a quarrel. Behind every such scuffle, the element of carelessness on the part of doctors towards their patient vis-a-vis anxiety among the attendants of patients is responsible. Since doctors are professionally trained, they must make use of their sweet tongue while discharging their professional obligation and while and talking to attendants.
FANI AYAZ, IND (GOOL)
Q: In Jammu division many villages are without road connectivity and the people suffering various difficulties on different counts, while the Government has diverted all its resources to develop the already developed Kashmir valley. What is the reason?
A: Jammu province, since independence, has remained at number two in the matter of development, may be due to anti-Jammu mind-set of rulers of Kashmir, for the past over 60 years. People had pinned high hopes on Azad, a son of the soil, on his becoming Chief Minister of the State, but for obvious reasons his leaning has also been found towards the valley. It is the sheer discrimination with Jammu region that parties like Jammu State Morcha came into being. I am of the view that people of Jammu should form a joint platform shedding the party politics so that rights of Jammu could be secured.
ANCHIT PROCH, HIRANAGAR
Q: What is the difference between games and sports?
A: The games are played for fun which include video games also while sports are played for competition between individuals or the teams in different disciplines. And that is the difference.
