Madonna, Jackson’s romance ended because she slammed him on TV

NEW YORK, Dec 12: Michael Jackson’s family friend Flo Anthony has revealed that Madonna’s affair with the King of Pop ended because she once criticised him on television during an interview.
Madonna, 58, made headlines last week by confessing on a talk show with James Corden that she and Jackson, who died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication in 2009, had a romantic moment.
Anthony said he remembers that short-lived romance from Jackson’s perspective, reported New York Daily News.
“He (Jackson) told me back then (in the early ’90s) that she’d spent the night at Neverland. He also told me that she’d told him if they were going to start dating, she wasn’t going to Disneyland, his favorite place,” Anthony said.
“The reason their relationship didn’t stick was because she did an interview on TV saying she would like him to get a new look and she wanted to get him out of those buckles,” according to Anthony. “He was livid that she criticized him on TV.”
Anthony said though he is not completely sure, he doesn’t think Jackson ever had a conversation with Madonna after that incident.
“I’m not sure, but I don’t think he ever spoke to her again. He was mad as hell.” (AGENCIES)
