Madhav to visit Jammu on July 21

JAMMU, July 17: BJP national general secretary and party’s pointman on Jammu and Kashmir Ram Madhav is visiting Jammu on a two-day visit on July 21 and 22 during which he will hold crucial sessions with the party leaders including Legislature Party meeting, Core Group session, inter-action with newly appointed office bearers, workers meeting of 10 Assembly constituencies and all important meeting with selected party leaders on political roadmap ahead in the State.
He will hold detailed discussions with the party leaders on political roadmap ahead in the State, which is under the Governor’s rule since June 20 after the BJP withdrew support to Mehbooba-Mufti led Government citing discrimination with Jammu and Ladakh regions and stalling of developmental projects in Jammu.
Party insiders said Madhav will address MLAs, leaders and workers of 10 Assembly constituencies at Samba on his arrival on July 21. The Assembly segments included RS Pura, Suchetgarh, Bishnah, Vijaypur, Samba, Hiranagar, Kathua, Bani, Basohli and Billawar.
The same day, he will hold inter-actions with selected senior party leaders of Jammu and Kashmir to discuss political situation in the State and whether there was possibility of any Government formation in the State.
On July 22, Madhav will inter-act with newly appointed office bearers of the State unit of BJP and preside over Legislature Party and Core Group meetings, the insiders said.
