JAMMU, Mar 1: Madan Lal Sharma, MP Jammu-Poonch Constituency, today inaugurated a community hall, which was constructed under MP LADS Scheme at the cost of Rs 14.12 lakh and dedicated to the general public of Barbala Baradari at Bhute Chak in Marh constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the need for holistic development of under developed urban and rural pockets as water, sanitation, education and health are the basic rights of all sections of society irrespective of any distinction of caste, creed or colour. He asked the people to avail benefits under various central and social protection schemes run by the Government.
Later on Madan Lal Sharma addressed a public meeting at Chandian Malpur where he said that empowerment and development of women always remained on the top priority of the Congress party.
