JAMMU, Dec 31: An interactive session for the students and children was organized by Maa Sharika Learning Institute of Education, Subash Nagar, here today in connnection with its new initiative of imparting informal education to the students and providing them councelling on various aspects of education learning and management of time and resources.
Dr. Sunita Koul, a child care expert ,educationist and psychologist of the national repute who is also associated with SOS, gave the students an audio visual presentation on variuos aspects and problems being faced by the student community.
Ramesh Hangloo , Managing Director, Radio Sharda was chief guest on the occasion as reputed Health specialist Dr. Jyoti Hak was guest of honour. Apart from other educationists Ravi Mahaldar an eminent Social activist aslo expressed his views on the occasion.
The function started with the welcome address of the head of the institute Pratibha Sopori who gave an overall acccount of the functioning of this coaching institute adding that the institute has planned many more such interactive councelling sessions for the benifit of the student community as per scientific standards which will help in inculcating self confidence in the younger student community.Alarge number of students and teachers attended the programme organised with the cooperation of RIEAM. The proceedings of this interactive session were conducted by Vijay Wali.
