JALANDHAR, Sept 17:
Lyallpur Khalsa College in Punjab has contributed Rs six lakh towards Jammu and Kashmir flood relief fund. The amount was handed over to Deputy Commissioner K K Yadav.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the people to contribute generously to help the flood affected people of the State, who are in dire need of relief material.
He said 3,500 blankets and other relief material had been dispatched to the affected State by the district Red Cross Society. (UNI)
