Lt Gen Sandhu meets Vohra

JAMMU, Jan 27: Lt Gen J S Sandhu, GOC 15 Corps, met Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today and briefed him about security management situation in the Valley consequent to stringent enforcement of the Counter-Infiltration Grid along the LoC.
The Governor appreciated the Army’s strong support to security forces in carrying out counter-terrorism operation in the Valley.
Lt. Gen Sandhu is shortly moving to Army Headquarters on the completion of his extended tenure as GOC XV Corps.
The Governor bade farewell to the Corps Commander and wished him a very successful tenure ahead.
