Low paid workers hold protest rally

KISHTWAR,  Jan 5:  Low paid employees  and workers today held protest demonstration in the town here demanding implementation of 7th Pay Commission report in the State.
On the call given by veteran trade union leader  and president All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation, Abdul Majid Khan, employees in large number from Kishtwar district  led by Manzoor Ahmed Kichloo, district president of the Federation, held protest demonstration.
The agitating workers  were demanding implementation of 7th Pay Commission report in the State. They also demanded release of  pending DA installment in respect of State employees and enhancement of Medical allowance of employees and pensioners from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month.  They said that due to steep rise in the prices of essential commodities, the low paid workers are unable to feed their families.
