Lok Adalat-cum-awareness camp held at Ramnagar

RAMNAGAR, July 29: Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Ramnagar organized a Lok Adalat-cum-awareness camp here today under the Chairman TLSC Sub Judge Renu Dogra.
About 14 cases of criminal and civil nature were taken up in the Lok adalat, out of which 7 cases were disposed-off on spot.
Speaking on the occasion, the Sub Judge said that these Lok Adalats help deliver justice expeditiously and by providing free legal aid ensures that no citizen is denied opportunity to seek justice because of economic reasons. She called upon common masses to participate in the lok adalats.
Lok Adalat witnessed a good response from litigants who came forward to settle their long pending disputes.
Among others, Naib Tehsildar Mohammad Arif Tak, Bar President, Members of Bar Association, advocates and large number of people participated in the lok adalat.
