Logo, website of 11th World Hindi Conference released

NEW DELHI, Apr 10:
The Education Minister of Mauritius here today released the logo and website of 11th World Hindi Conference which is scheduled in August in that country.
“I got an opportunity to look at the entries received for the logo and I observed that all participants think alike. The concept of having a ship struggling in water is the struggle Hindi is facing today,” said Education Minister of Mauritius, Leela Devi Dookhun Luchoomun.
“The website which is being launched today is just a beginning, we have formed a sub-committee which will keep collecting information and updating the website,” she added.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said, “a delegation had visited India from Mauritius and explained me about the preparations for the conference. Language and culture go hand in hand, if language is gone culture is gone. Hence, the conference is important to ensure that the language exists in Indians staying abroad”.
The conference is scheduled from August 18-20. (PTI)
