POONCH, Dec 26: The villagers from Kas Baladi and adjoining hamlets near the Line of Control in Balnoi area of Mendhar today held protest demonstration against the PHE and Power Development Department authorities at Tehsil headquarters Mendhar.
A large number of people from the village and hamlets assembled in front of the office of SDM and Tehsildar Mendhar today and held strong protest demonstration. They shouted slogans against PHE and PDD authorities. The villagers alleged that water supply was lying defunct for the last more than four weeks while power transformers which was damaged could not be replaced or repaired since long. The public is suffering and field staff did not bother despite repeated requests.
Later, they submitted a memorandum to the SDM Mendhar, Rahul Yadav in presence of other officers and demanded immediate intervention of Sub Divisional Administration.
