RAMBAN, Dec 2: A team of Legal Metrology Department (LMD) Ramban headed by Assistant Controller conducted extensive market checking at Banihal, Ramban, Chanderkot and Batote.
During the checking, a fine of Rs 23000 was imposed on 41 erring traders for use of faulty weighing instruments and violation of other provision of Weights and Measures Act.
