JAMMU, Sept 20: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) here today announced participation in Panchayat and Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections in J&K.
In a press conference Ravi Tickoo, State President LJP said that list of the candidates for these elections has been prepared and only a nod from their headquarters at Delhi is awaited for final announcement.
He flayed National Conference and PDP for election boycott and appealed to the Governor, Satya Pal Malik for ensuring free and fair elections.
Varun Talwar, State LJP Vice President; Sunil Singh Kamboj, National Vice President; Bodh Raj, State General Secretary and others were also present in the press conference.
