JAMMU, Mar 2: Little Champs Play Way School, New Plots celebrated its 5th Annual Day function and prize distribution ceremony with zeal and zest at Abhinav Theatre, here today.
Vikram Randhawa, Member Legislative Council was the chief guest, while Sandhya Gupta, State women president of Janta Dal United was the guest of honour and Meena Jaggi, Literacy Coordinator of Inner Wheel Club was the special guest on this occasion. The Chairperson Capt Vinay Abrol and the Principal Sonal Abrol were also present on the occasion along with other dignitaries.
The function began with the lighting of traditional lamp followed by Ganesh Vandana presented by the Jr Kg children. The students of Pre-Nursery presented a Fancy Dress Show based on Indian traditional dress showing different cultures of India. Other students of Pre-Nursery and Nursery presented fancy dress show based on Swatch Bharat Mission.
A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students based on theme ‘Incredible India’. The various attractions of the event were Kashmiri dance, Dogri dance, Rajasthani dance, Goan dance, play on story swatch bharat mission, dance on English song etc and in Sports – Karate self defence techniques were highly applauded by the audience present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Ch Vikram Randhawa appreciated the spirit and confidence of the students and praised the school for giving such a stage exposure to all the kids and encouraged staff with his precious words.
School Principal, Sonal Abrol presented school’s report highlighting its achievements.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
