LIC organises event to mark Diamond Jubilee

JAMMU, Sept 28: As a part of its Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India, Srinagar Division (J&K), organised a grand musical programme at Abhinav Theatre here today.
The fabulous cultural programme named as “Surili Sham Aapke Naam” brought the colours to the events being organised by the LIC in J&K under its Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Renowned artists/ singers including Kulbir Singh, Anjusha Sharma, Naveen Punjabi etc. enthralled the audience with their spell bound performances at the Abhinav auditorium this evening.
A large number of LIC officials, agents and their families enjoyed the programme. During the function, top agents, Development Officers and CLIAs were also honoured by the Senior Divisional Manager,  TS Bali.
While speaking on the occasion, Bali said that Srinagar Division of LIC  is doing excellent in new business  and till date, it has achieved 51% budget of the total first  premium income which comes to Rs 109 crore.  He said the LIC has procured more than 52,000 new policies in current  financial year.
He further revealed that Srinagar Division of LIC is also doing well in agency registration  as Division has recruited more than 600 agents  during current financial year. It has total 6100 agents at present.
Marketing Manager, S D Negi said that it is matter of pride for the LIC of India (Sgr Div)  that this Division has become number one in Northern Zone in respect of policies and premium.
Manager Sales, D S Slathia and S N Sharma, Manager CLIA also shared their views about the organization and the cultural event.
