JAMMU, Feb 19: Life Insurance Agents’ Federation of India, Divisional Council, J&K organised 30th Annual Convention here today.
All India president of LIAFI, Ranvir Sharma was the chief guest while Senior Divisional Manager LIC of India Srinagar Division (J&K), TS Bali; Marketing Manager Sgr Div Vikek Sharma; Secretary Northern Zone Tota Ram Upadhaya; Vikas Bhardwaj vice president LIAFI; Dilbagh Singh-Divisional president Karnal and Ajay Jain, Divisional Secretary Karnal Division were the guests of honour.
The programme was organised under the leadership of Narinder Kumar Sharma, Divisional president, Srinagar Division (J&K) and Bodh Raj Sharma, Divisional Secretary.
The chief guest and other speakers, including Narinder Sharma projected and discussed the day-to-day problems being faced by the LIC agents and way and means to strengthen branch associations and new challenges being faced by the agents due to changes being made in the rules and Insurance Act. The issues related to welfare of the LIC agents were also brought to the notice of TS Bali and other officers of the Division.
Bali during the address gave assurance to the LIC agents to take care of the issues being faced by them and resolve their genuine problems on priority basis. He also assured them to provide best possible working environment. He appealed the agent s to work hard in achieving their targets and bring the Division at number one position in the Northern Zone.
On this occasion, Divisional president, Srinagar (J&K), Narinder Kumar Sharma was elevated as Zonal president of North Zone unanimously. Mukul Sawhney, vice president and office secretary, Srinagar Division, LIAFI also spoke on the occasion.
