Leopard cub rescued

SRINAGAR, Jan 21: Police today rescued a three month old leopard cub from a village in Kokernag area of Anantnag district in South Kashmir.
Police after receiving information about presence of the leopard rushed to Nagam village of Kokernag.
The police party was headed by SHO Tariq Yousuf and rescued the cub with assistance from a local identified as Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh. It was later handed over to Wild Life authorities.
