JAMMU, Jan 1: A delegation of Legislators from Leh and Kargil met Chief Minister and demanded stern action against the senior doctor of Forensic Department of GMC, Jammu, who molested a MBBS student hailing from Ladakh.
The delegation comprised of CLP leader Nawang Rigzin Jora, Asgar Karbalai, Agha Baqiv Razvi and Deldan Namgyal.
The delegation expressed serious concern over the incident and demanded stern action against the culprit.
They told the Chief Minister that there should be no leniency and culprit should be booked under relevant laws. There are serious allegations against the accused who used to indulge in such kind of activities for the past several years and used to threaten the girls of failing them in examination, they added.
The doctor should be terminated from the services so that in future the students are not exploited by him, they demanded.
