Lead role in “Machli Jal Ki Rani Hai”, Bhanu Uday Goswami makes J&K proud

JAMMU, June 14: Son of soil, Bhanu Uday Goswami, has made entire Jammu and Kashmir proud, by making it to Bollywood and by playing the lead role of Uday Saxena in the recently released horror movie “Machli Jal Ki Rani Hai”.
Bhanu Uday got his primary education from Jammu and passed his 12th standard, following which he moved to Delhi and joined Hans Raj College. Later he joined National School of Drama and started acting.
He started as a television actor but played small parts in many Bollywood films like Lakshya and Dhokha (2007). Bhanu played an important role in the Indo-US production, Monsoon. His new film Blemished Light is in post-production in which he played, Hussain.
A Jammuite, Bhanu Uday, is an actor earlier known for his role in STAR One’s television series, Special Squad, in which he played Aryan Khanna, the Assistant Commissioner of Police and the leader of Special Squad.
In the movie, Machli Jal Ki Rani Hai, Bhanu Uday played the role of Udhay Saxena, who along with his wife Ayesha are a happily married couple living in Mumbai.
Udhay, a mechanical engineer, works at a private company and they are living a perfect life with their four year old son Sunny.
Bhanu Uday, born on 16 October, 1980 was brought up in the city of temples. His father Anil Goswani is an IAS officer and presently holding the post of Home Secretary in Union Government while his mother is a renowned lawyer.
