JAMMU, Apr 4: The work in all the courts, Commissions and Tribunals including High Court remained suspended in view of the decision taken by the General House of J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu.
The lawyers are agitating over illegal directions issued in pursuance to a meeting of Tribal Affairs Department held on 14-02-2018, delay in handing over of Rasana murder case to CBI and deportation of illegally settled immigrants etc.
Various protests were held within the court premises and the work in all courts including High Court remained paralyzed. The resolution of High Court Bar Association has received over-whelming support from the peripheral Bar Associations and work in courts at Kathua, Samba, Udhampur, Bishnah, Reasi, Basholi, Hiranagar, Bhaderwah & other Muffasil Bars also remained suspended.
