Law School outplays Pol Science to seal berth in finals

JAMMU, May 18: Trouncing Political Science Department by a narrow margin of 10 runs in the semifinals, Law School sealed berth in the finals of the ongoing Inter-Department Cricket Tournament at University of Jammu grounds, here.
Earlier, batting first, Law School scored a decent total of 131 runs in the stipulated 10 overs. Gourav top scored with 54 runs.
In reply , Political Science Department managed to score 121 runs in 10 overs, thus lost the match by 10 runs. Gourav was the pick of the bowlers, scalping 3 important wickets.
In another match played today, Law Department defeated Geology Department by 41 runs in an easy contest.
Batting first, Law Department scored 146 runs, while in reply, Geology Department managed to score 105 runs in the allotted overs.
The matches were officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik, Vijay Kuamr, Vinod and Raj Kumar Bakshi.
