JAMMU : The Jammu-Srinagar national highway was today closed for normal traffic due to heavy rains and landslides. “Overnight rains triggered landslides near Panthial in Jammu-Srinagar highway in Ramban district this morning due to which the road got blocked,” police spokesman said. He said the traffic from both the sides have been suspended. The spokesman said the Border Road Organisation (BRO) men are on the job to clear the road for restoring the traffic, police said.
