KATHUA, Apr 21: Continuing his campaign in support of CBI probe into the Rassana murder and kidnapping case of a minor girl, former Forest Minister and senior BJP leader Ch. Lal Singh took out a rally from the border belt of Samba and Kathua today.
Ch Lal Singh started his rally from Mawa-Madoon border area in district Samba to Kort Pun border belt in Kathua. Enroute Lal Singh addressed the gathering of border villagers who in large numbers received him and extended full support to former Minister in unmasking the conspiracy in murder case.
He said the people of Jammu region are deliberately being harassed and humiliated. They are being pushed to wall by creating controversies and unrest so that the development process in the region be hampered.
Addressing the people BJP leader reiterated his demand for CBI probe into the murder and kidnapping of the innocent girl to unravel the facts. He also demanded that the border issue be settled once for all, arrears be paid to them besides compensation, ex-gratia for crops lost, compensation for cattle and other damages be also paid to them.
The people enroute raised slogans in support of the Mr Singh and assured him all cooperation in this movement so that the real culprits in Rassana case are arrested and put behind bars and no innocent person is harmed.
