JAMMU, Nov 29: Minister for Forests, Ecology and Environment Choudhary Lal Singh felicitated the cyclists of Environment Chetna Yatra who proceeded for Kanayakumari from here today to spread awareness across the nation regarding the need and significance of environment protection.
The 4000 kilometer Yatra has been organised by Eco-Riders Club Jammu for 30 days.
President Eco Rider Harbind Singh informed the Minister that the cyclists including Pooja Budhawale, Sayali Maharao and Narpat Singh Rajpurohit will visit various states including Himachal Pardesh, Punjab, Harayana and Rajasthan.
