Lal Singh draws Governor’s attention towards selections made by PSC

JAMMU, Dec 6: Ch Lal Singh, founder president, Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan and former Member Parliament has drawn the attention of the State Governor Satya Pal Malik towards the selections made by the Public Service Commission in the State recently.
While addressing a series of meeting at Manwal, Sangwali and Roopnagar today Lal Singh highlighted another injustice done by the PSC with the people of Jammu. While commenting on the recent selection list of Asstt Professors of the ENT, he said that a grave injustice with the people of the Jammu and Medical College of Jammu has been done by selecting only one candidate from Jammu and four from Kashmir.
Two Kashmiris are selected for Srinagar Medical College and two Kashmiris are selected for Jammu Medical College where as only one Dogra has been selected against 5 positions. He further said injustice to the people of Jammu has been carried out for the last 60 years and he made a general appeal to the people of the State in general and Dogras in particular to be more vigilant and conscious as the present political scenario smacks of a deep rooted conspiracy against Dogras.
He further said that Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan will stand like a rock and will ensure a separate PSC and SSRB for Jammu region. The demand of the separate PSC and SSRB of the Jammu region has been reflected in the vision document of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan. He also appealed to the masses and especially to the youth to unite and support all the 25 points of the vision document. He said that DSS is fighting against any domination and discrimination with Jammu and its eight months struggle is committed for the development of Jammu. Sangathan wants fair relation of Kashmir and Jammu on reciprocal basis and wants fair justice for the Jammu, he added.
He appealed to the Governor to have a kind attention in the recent selection of the Asstt Professors in the Department. He said that trust and the interest of Jammu has again been shattered as it is quite visible in the selections.
Dr Hari Dutt Shishu, general secretary of DSS also spoke in the public meetings.
