JAMMU, Sept 16: In collaboration with Vikas Social Welfare and Education Society, Sector 20-D, Chandigarh, Ladakh Students Association donated necessary items for flood victims, which they handed over to the 4th Ladakh Scouts Regiment, Chandimandir for further distribution.
The items included 750 blankets, 300 boxes drinking water, 150 kg food grains and medicines etc.
Urgyan Thistop, vice president of Ladakh Student Association, Chandigarh, said that “We were able to collect some amount of cash through a donation campaign in the Chandigarh City along with the Kargil Student Association of Chandigarh”.
He further appealed the people to donate generously for the cause of the people in this grim atmosphere.
