Lack of application worrying factor for J&K as it takes on Services today

KOLKATA, Feb 28: Coping up with pressure situations and lack of application by the batsmen will be the cause of worry for Jammu and Kashmir when it takes on equally poised Soumya Swain led Services in their 3rd outing of Group-D match of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy, being hosted by Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), under the aegis of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), here tomorrow.
While Services, despite posting a good target, lost to Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Jharkhand by 7 wickets today, Jammu and Kashmir, on the other hand, suffered a narrow 4-run loss against Chhattisgarh.
Jammu and Kashmir have no worries in the bowling department, but their main batsmen in shape of Shubham Khajuria, Ian Dev Singh, Ahmed Banday and Punit Bisht, who looked out of sorts today, need to show character and application and support their skipper, who is in sublime touch.
Services will be banking on in form batsmen Gaurav Kochar, skipper Soumya Swain, Shamsher Yadav and wicketkeeper Nakul Verma and will be hoping for a good show from bowlers Suraj Yadav, Diwesh Pathania and Shakti Malvia.
