Labroo, Bhat interact with aspirants of civil services 2019

JAMMU, Aug 19: Akshay Labroo and Rahul Bhat who recently cracked the civil services examination interacted with a group of aspirants of Civil Service Examinations for 2019 at Durga Nagar and Jagti Camp today.
The two young civil servants besides counselling the aspirants preparing for 2019 Civil Services Examinations also replied their various queries during the interactive sessions at both the places.
They expatiated on all pros and cons of the examination and questions being asked in preliminary as well as mains of Civil Services. Both Labroo and Bhat in their lecturers maintained that concentration, focus on goal and hard work is key to success in the examinations.
They also gave them valuable tips regarding studying of books as well as magazines and news papers which can also prove useful in qualifying the examinations with flying colours.
The duo told the aspirants that though it will not be possible for them to join the regular coaching which needs a lot of money, they will mange online resources of coaching for them.
They also gave a brief about the syllabus and informed the aspirants to study the books as per the syllabus. They said that during the mass exodus in nineties the focus of community was survival first and during the initial days the students turned towards professional courses like engineering, management etc. But now the focus should be how to revive the age old educational set up for which the community was renowned from centuries together.
The aspirants also wanted to know from the two new young civil servants that how can they make reentry in Public Services.
Both Labroo and Bhat after qualifying the Civil Services have started councilling the aspirants by taking their classes at Durga Nagar on every Sunday to inspire more and more youth to pursue the Civil Services. They also gave a mantra to the aspirants that “it is not difficult to attain the goal provided it is pursued with a positive mind and dedication”.
According to B L Jalali coordinator the councelling classes the classes at Durga Nagar are being organized by Future Bureaucrats and group of volunteers with logistic support by All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) while the classes at Jagti are being organized by Helpline Humanity in collaboration with Alakh Sahiba Trust, Talab Tillo.
VC Central University Prof Ashok Aima also participated at the Jagti Camp.
