JAMMU, Feb 25: A construction labourer today lost his one of the arms after he accidentally fell from a height in an under construction building here at civil secretariat complex.
According to a police spokesman, the mishap occurred this evening when he got slipped from a pole being used at construction site. “In the mishap, the man, who has been identified as Golak Parera (45) son of Bharat Parera, resident of Odisha and at present residing at Shalamar (Jammu), sustained serious injuries and almost lost his one arm”, he added.
The spokesman said that the injured labourer was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
