JAMMU, Nov 4: A labourer from UP died today under mysterious circumstances near Railway Station, Jammu.
According to a police official, some labourers were sitting this morning near J&K Bank ATM at Railway Station, Jammu. He said suddenly some labourers noticed one of them in unconscious condition and informed the police.
The police reached the spot and shifted the labourer identified as Kallu (40) son of Shota, resident of Rai Braely (UP), to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. After completing all medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs fro last rites.
In this connection, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC was initiated at police station GRP Jammu and investigations started.
