JAMMU, Aug 9: A migrant labourer died today due to alleged fall from a building in Barnai area of city outskirts.
“In a pool of blood, the dead body of Chotu Ram (50), an unskilled worker from Bihar, was found this morning lying on the ground at Mulk Raj Rice Mill, Barnai, where he was working from past quite some time”, a police official said.
He said prima facie it appears that the man died due to fall from the building of the Mill during night hours. “The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu while inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC initiated at police station Domana”, he added.
