KVS celebrates Foundation Day with zeal, zest

JAMMU, Dec 15: Various Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools celebrated 54th KVS Foundation Day with zeal and zest, today.
KV No-1 Udhampur with enthusiasm and fervour. Principal Rajesh Pandey was the chief guest on the occasion.
After the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a pledge on KVS Foundation Day was presented highlighting the motto and dedication of KVS Organisation towards all round development of each students as well as making India strong and prosperous.
The students presented a variety of cultural items on the day, which enthralled all the audience.

Students beautifully presented the history, objectives and administrative set-up of KVS using charts and banners.
KVS song was sung by the students and the teachers, followed by a poem by Nimi Koul.
An oath ceremony on the duties of KV enriched on human values was taken up by Bimla Pandit (Vice Principal).
A strong message on being good and responsible citizens was delivered by Anuj Kumar (Principal KV Nagrota). vote of thanks was presented by Ram Vilas (PGT Hindi) to mark the end of the programme.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sunjuwan celebrated Foundation Day with pomp and show today.
The students were honoured for their participation in Quiz, Debate, Skit and Group Song Competition. the students presented the detailed view on establishment of organization with achievements in all the sectors of society. Shaheen Akhtar presented a detailed report on Vision and Mission of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2, Akhnoor celebrated the Foundation Day of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan here today.
The day started with the song ‘Kendriya Vidyalaya swarnim gaurav’, followed by a couple of cultural activities.
Children actively presented poems, songs and dances on the occasion.
Yogita Sharma, PGT (English) and Ashok Kumar, TGT (Mathematics) as well as CCA In-charge of the school, spoke about the history and the importance of the day. The Principal, Didar Singh congratulated all the participants and blessed the students.
The function ended with everyone taking part in the National Anthem.
