Kuntwara residents’ plea to CM

KISHTWAR, June 6: Tara Chand Ex chairman, Halqa Panchayat Sangana on behalf of people of Kuntwara in Inderwal Assembly Segment has made an appeal to Chief Minister that the High School be upgraded in Nagbhatana Kuntwara area which is totally backward and secluded.
He said demographically the Kuntwara is divided in three parts Lilaran Seeghat, Churyana, Bhutna, Mindrana Barwas, Bhandera, Mandhal and Plan is one part, while Sangana,, Prishmula, Mali, Hiloor, Nagbhatana, Aakla, Hingna, Kutal and Chanderbani is the second part.
The third part comprises of Shandari, Tohall, Bhatkoot, Hadhar and Ohli, he said, adding there are three high schools in the area and the old one is the High School Nagbatna and it is also situated at Centre place of three parts of Kuntwara. He said unfortunately the Government has decided to upgrade the High School of Bhatkoot to Higher Secondary School which is not in the interests of the people hence the Nagbhatana School be upgraded which is the centre place.
