KPS takes dig at Kashmir mainstream parties

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Feb 19: The KP Sabha (KPS) Jammu has taken strong exception to the statements made by Kashmir mainstream political parties which are repeatedly advocating for a dialogue process with Pakistan inspite of there being clear cut proof that the dastardly suicide attack on the CRPF convoy in which 40 brave hearts attained martyrdom was planned and executed by that terrorist State.
In a meeting held under the chairmanship of it’s president, K K Khosa it was observed that while the whole nation is waiting for a decisive action against the perpetrators and their handlers across the border, the top leadership of both major parties National Conference and PDP stand exposed today as being supporters of the separatists and other fringe elements who have been working against the national interests for decades. The members also expressed dismay over the hullabaloo raised by these parties that Kashmiris are feeling threatened in Jammu division and in other parts of the nation inspite of the fact that no untoward incident has been reported till now.
The Sabha said by raising this bogey they are rendering great disservice to the people of the State in general and those of Jammu region in particular. The Jammu region in particular has always been a haven for peace, brotherhood and amity amongst people belonging to all the three regions of the State. The members also appealed to the administration to lift the curfew imposed in Jammu at least during the day to mitigate the suffering of all sections of society especially the daily wage earners. Such prolonged curfew restrictions also do not auger well for the overall reputation and image of the region.
