KP employees in Valley serving great cause: Yudhvir

BARAMULLA, (Kashmir) July 27: State BJP senior vice president, Yudhvir Sethi today said that Kashmiri Pandit migrant employees working in the Valley are brand ambassadors and serving a great cause of economic as well as social wellbeing of Kashmir.
Speaking at a function organize by Kashmiri Pandit migrant employees at Baramulla, Yudhvir Sethi said that by being in Kashmir and living with their neighbors in harmony they have not only strengthened economy of Kashmir but also enhanced bond between different sections of society.
He said Kashmir is known for its composite culture and the role being played by local population in extending their helping hand to migrant employees too is laudable. He said, the employees are also working as bridge and sending a strong message that Kashmir is known for peace and prosperity.
The BJP leader said there are definitely some issues confronting employees with regard to their security and accommodation and that is being addressed by the Government. More than physical security the employees, he said need social and mental security and it can be possible through local population only.
Lauding the role of people of Kashmir, Sethi said that comfortable stay of Kashmiri migrants in the Valley is biggest ever Confidence Building Measure (CBM) the credit for which goes to all sections of society. These youth, he said are also acting as a bridge and sending a message of one nation amongst all.
Yudhvir Sethi said it was because of some unfortunate circumstances that they had to move out of Valley but without them the composite culture of Kashmir is incomplete. He hoped that in days to come Kashmiris will welcome their brothers back in their homes and all migrants will return to their homes and hearths.
Later, the employees urged Yudhvir Sethi to take up their issues with concerned quarters which include potable water, regular and uninterrupted power supply besides repair of their residential quarters. The visiting leader assured that these issues will be brought into the notice of concerned officials and work on them started immediately. D.K. Nehru district president Baramullha, Mohammed Anwar Khan, general secretary Baramulla, Shabnam Dar, Gh. Qadir, Gulzar Ahmed Dar, Arun Nehru, Irshad Ahmed, Maroof Bhat were also present.
