RAJOURI, Dec 4: BJP leader and Member of G&B Advisory Board of J&K, Wasim Kohli had a whirlwind tour of three weeks in Kalakote to take stock of the grievances of the people.
Travelling through the length and breadth of the constituency, the BJP leader visited various villages like Saroh, Chowki Narian, Kote Hadyatpur, Dogani, Dhlyote, Damal, Garan Plasihill, Kurlian, Sialsui and many more.
During the visit, Wasim Kohli interacted with people in every village and reiterated the mission of Digital India. He encouraged the youth to make use of technology for doing their day to day activities like paying electricity bills, phone bills and also in financial transactions.
He also advocated various Central Government schemes like Beti Bachao, Beti Padao and Sukanya Samridhi Yojna for the welfare and upliftment of girls. While speaking to people, he told that BJP is the only party which can help the downtrodden people and work for their social and economic upliftment.
Appreciating the developmental projects initiated by the Government through PDD, RDD, PHE departments and other schemes in Kalakote, people appealed Wasim Kohli that such projects must be taken up in continuity in future so as to benefit the people of this remote area.
