Knee replaced oldies dance on Bhangra beats at Fortis Escorts

AMRITSAR, Apr 19: Orthopaedic Department of Fortis Escorts Hospital, Amritsar organized an event for its patients, in which knee replaced patients performed Bhangra.
More than 60 “No-More Patients” danced on Bhangra beats with Dr Mohit Arora, Senior Consultant Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement Surgeon, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Amritsar.
“Today, I can dance on Bhangra beats but those were the days when I had painful experience of not been able to bend my knees while bowing down at the Gurudwara. I could bear the pain of my knees, but not this one,” said a 68-year-old ex-Army man from Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar, and attributed this positive change in his life to Dr Mohit Arora. He said now he is not only able to walk but also performed Bhangra on his feet without pain.
Later, on the sidelines of the function, Dr Mohit Arora, debunks myths related to joint replacements.
